Home Modification

  • We are an occupational therapist-led home accessibility company focused on helping individuals live safely and independently at home. Our services combine clinical expertise with practical home modification recommendations and installation support to provide a coordinated aging-in-place solution.

  • We take a client-centered approach focused on safety, independence, and dignity. Each project begins with a home accessibility evaluation conducted by an occupational therapist. Recommendations are reviewed collaboratively, and selected modifications may be implemented to support safer daily function within the home.

Some recommendations can be implemented directly, while others may require licensed contractors, tradespeople, or specialized services. When outside services are needed, we can help identify appropriate professionals. These providers operate independently, and clients are responsible for selecting and contracting with any third-party service providers.

While environmental changes can reduce risk, no modification can eliminate the possibility of falls or injury. Safety outcomes depend on individual health status, environment, and proper use of equipment.

  • What families should know about fall risk and home safety.

    • Unintentional falls are the leading cause of emergency department visits in the U.S. across every age group.

    • Falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries among Americans aged 65+, with 1 in 4 (14 million) reporting a fall annually.

    • According to the CDC, about $50 billion is spent on medical costs related to older adult falls each year.

    • Falls can result in fractures, traumatic brain injuries and fear of falling that restricts community and social engagement. Sometimes these injuries result in people moving into nursing facilities
